District Level Consultation on JJ Act 2015 and POCSO Act 2012

Thoubal,July.8: The Manipur Alliance for Child Rights (MACR),Thoubal in association with the Childline Thoubal on Saturday organized a District Level Consultation on JJAct 2015 and POCSO Act 2012 at Conference hall of District Court, Thoubal. ADC/ADM Thoubal,Dr.Mayengbam Veto Singh MCS, Thoubal Municipal Council Ward no.15 Councillor, Ningthoujam Shanti, SDPO Yairipok,Syed Abdul Samad MPS and District & Session Judge, Salam Ingocha graced the program as chief guest, president and guest of honours respectively. District Convenor of MACR & Drictor of Childline Thoubal, Nonibala Narengbam delivered the Keynote address. Member of Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Right, K.Pradeepkumar Singh and Asst. Director Human Right Law Network attended as the resource person. Topics like “Role of Police & Media” and “Role of Legal Fraternity in JJ Act & POCSO” were deliberated by the resource person. The programme was participated by Members of Childline Thoubal, Police Porsonnel, club members, women and students of Thoubal District. Kh.Tompok, Childline Thoubal delivered the vote of thanks
