Jiribam, April 3:
District Election Officer, Jiribam Krishna Kumar, IAS chaired a meeting with Nodal Officers and Additional Nodal Officers at the conference hall of the DC Office, Jiribam today in connection with the 18th Lok Sabha Election, 2024. The meeting was held to review the plan and progress of various department for the smooth conduct of 18th Lok Sabha Election, 2024 in Jiribam District.
During the meeting, the DEO/DC instructed all the Nodal Officers and Additional Nodal Officers to be fully prepared for the Poll process to ensure the conduct of 18th Lok Sabha Election, 2024 peacefully and successfully in Jiribam District.
Safeguarding the Strong Room, checking and frisking of DC’s Complex, Manpower management, Material management, arrangements of accommodation for the visiting Observers, welfare of poling personnel, postal ballots and identification of first-time voters, Peoples with disabilities (PWD) & senior citizens etc. were the key matters discussed during the meeting.
Superintendent of Police, Jiribam A Ghanashyam Sharma, IPS, Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam Th. Manoranjan Singh, MCS and ZEO, Jiribam Thoudam Amurashi Chanu, MES were also attended the meeting.
