As part of its ongoing campaign on drug abuse, Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) has organised a discussion program at Loyalakpa Laibung, Yumnam Khunou under Bishnupur district on Sept 9. Dipanjit Ningthouja, Secretary General CADA and Yumnam (o) Lata, President of Women’s Development Association Yumnam Khunou attended the function as presidium members. While, Geetchandra Mangang, Secretary Finance of CADA; Nepram (o) Bimola, Secretary organization of CADA and Leishangthem Sanjit, Secretary Information and Publicity of CADA attended as resource persons. During the function, CADA and New Way Development Organisation, Yumnam Khunou decided to ban intoxicants at Yumnam Khunou area. In a release, CADA appealed locals, police, excise department and other concerns to cooperate in their effort to ban drugs at the locality.
