Imphal, Sept 26: A tata DI driver and his assistant along with a trader were allegedly kidnapped along Imphal Jiri road while coming out from Jiribam on September 17. According reports the driver has been identified as Thangjam Romen @ Naocha (26) son of Th. Tomal Singh and the assistant driver has been identified as Heikrujam Ibomcha(35) son of irabot of Pangei Yumnam Khunou. And the trader has been identified as Jonkhalen of Jaipur Khunou Maning Leikai Bishempur. They were kidnapped by suspected cadres of ZUF while returning from Jiribam on the Tata DI bearing registration number MN01 X0809. Following the kidnapping a JAC has been form and demanded their released.
A report said that a person identified as the cadre of the ZUF called to the family member of the driver demanding money for their released.
