Under the financial assistance of 3rd State Finance Commission (3rd SFC) District Council Administration, Chandel distributed desk and bench to the 60 schools which is under its administration at a function held at M/S Chaobi Saw Mill Complex, Wabagai Lamkhai.
The function which is organised by District Council Administration, Chandel, Chairman Autonomous District Council (ADC), Chandel, D.Ringo Lamkang as Chief Guest, Executive Member (Education), ADC, Chandel, Ts.Kanlun as President and Chief Executive Officer, ADC, Chandel, Ksh.Siddharath as Guest of Honour.
ADC, Chandel, Chairman, D.Ringo Lamkang said that due to insufficient fund in the District Council Administration proper desk and bench are not fully provided to all the schools. He added that the fund sanction that comes time to time for schools will utilise nicely. He further said that he will try to improve the funding from next time.
Executive Member (Education) ADC, Chandel, Ts.Kalun said that due to insufficient fund they cannot provide fully infrastructure to all the schools. He added that under the supervision of Chairman, D.Ringo Lamkang advice to the elected ADC member to select 2/2 school from their area and also promise to distribute 2/2 desk and bench.
