DESAM appeals to lift ban on Catholic schools, warns actions against concern authorities

Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has appealed KCP (MC) to immediately remove the ban imposed on catholic schools based in the city.
In today’s ‘One day open discussion on the ongoing imposition of indefinite ban on catholic schools of Imphal’ organized by DESAM at MDU hall here, representatives of school students, DESAM and guardians resolved to condemned the ongoing indefinite ban on catholic schools.
They also unanimously resolved on 4 points charter of demands which appeals to all state and non state organizations, groups not to impose ban on educational institutes; KCP (MC) to lift its indefinite ban on catholic schools; KCP (MC), educational society and catholic schools should arrive an agreement and government should intervene and must take all the necessary measures to re-open the banned schools from tomorrow (April 7).
Serving to re-open the catholic schools by tomorrow, DESAM also warned to spearhead a series of actions against the concern authorities.
