Imphal, Jan 28: The dead body of a young married woman identified as one Akina Begum (45) was discovered from a field today morning at kwakta ward no.3 under Moirang police station. While the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, an FIR has been taken up by the police. It is also reported that irate local womenfolk have attacked and damaged the residence of the dead women’s husband regarding the suspicious death. Police personnel have been deployed to prevent further agitation and destruction to the property of the husband of the deceased.
