Manipur Chief Secretary PC Lawmkunga chaired a meeting in connection with various arrangements for Republic Day Celebration, 2015.
As per the proceedings of the meeting the ceremonial parade will be held at State Capital at Imphal and at all District Headquarters of the State including the ADC Headquarters/Sub-Divisional Headquarters.
The venue of the Flag Hoisting at the State Capital will be at Kangla. In the morning of 26th January the Manipur Governor KK Paul will inspect Guard of Honor. It will be followed by unfurling of the National Flag and playing of National Anthem by MR Band.
The Chief Guest of the function will also distribute Police Medals to the medal winning police personnel.
In the afternoon a reception function will be held at Raj Bhavan. Folk Dance Festival and Beating the Retreat will be held on 27th January.
