COVID-19, 3 died, positivity rate reduce to 2.8%

Imphal, Nov 14:

Even as the testing of Covid-19 remain less than 2000 a day, the situation is reported to be improved with just 2.8 % of positivity rate today. A total of 1799 people were tested for the Covid-19 and among them 50 were detected to have been infected by the virus. The good news is that there are no report of Covid positive cases detected today at Chandel, Jiribam, Kakching, Kangpokpi, Pherzwal, Senapati, Tamenglong and Tengnoupal. Thoubal district where elected related violence and poll campaign is reported to be at its height was reported with only 1 covid positive case today.
Total cumulative test conducted so far has reached 13,91,064 people, while the cumulative positive cases is reported to be 1,24,482. The number of death due to Covid so far in the state has reached 1,949.
So far the number of people above 18 years who got second dose vaccination has reached 7,95,508 and the number of people who got the first dose vaccination has reached 12,60,966 till yesterday.
