CorCom salute to those fighting for safeguarding of Manipur on occasion of the Intl. Human Rights Day

CorCom today paid revolutionary salute to the oppressed people of the region and also to those martyred fighting the Kuki narco-terrorist groom by the Indian army on occasion of the International Human Rights Day.
The day is observed across the globe to commemorate the 75 years of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
A statement by M. Sak-hen, media Coordinator of CorCom said that CorCom supports all movements for self-determination from the hands of colonial regime. All struggles to free from atrocities and human rights violations from the colonial regime will be supported by the CorCom, the statement said.
Every 10 of December is celebrated as International Human Rights Day across the globe after the United Nations General Assembly adopted the day as Human Rights in 1948. In the 317 UN General Assembly Adopted December 10 as Universal Human Rights Day on December 4, 1950, under its resolution 423(V). The irony is that the erstwhile independent nation Kangleipak has been forcibly annexed and started suppressing the people of the region creating a conflict zone as the people of Manipur could not bear the oppressive nature of the Indian Colonial regime. The revolutionary armed group fighting for the sovereignty of Manipur has been following International Law.
This year’s theme for Human Rights Day is Dignity, Freedom, and Justice for All. And restoration of the lost freedom of Manipur/ Kangleipak is the fundamental right of the people.
Armed struggle for the cause is approved under Chapter 1, Article 1, Part 2 of the UN Charter. The UN Declaration on the Rights of the Indigenous people is also provided in Article 3 and thus India has no right to suppress the people of Kaangleipak.
CorCom also elaborated on the proxy war by using Kuki narco-terrorists to finish the armed struggle for the restoration of the lost freedom. And said that such a mischievous act will never be successful.
