CorCom, a conglomerate of 6 different rebel groups of the region today called 24 hours curfew on the day where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Manipur. In a press released, the conglomerate said that the visit of Narendra Modi is an ill fortune for the people of the region. It condemned the visit saying that the Indian regime has been suppressing the people of the region by enforcing various draconian laws. The statement said that during the 9th East Asia Summit held at Nay Pyi Taw in Myanmar from Novemebr 12 to 13, Narendra Modi has stated that in a world of Inter-dependence and globalization, there is no option but to follow international laws and norms, for this reason, following international law and norms is important.
