Congress leader Okram Ibobi today slammed Union Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan over his remark in connection with the present crisis in Manipur.
“Putting blame to Congress party for the present crisis in Manipur is unfounded and baseless”, Okram Ibobi told media person today reacting the MoS External Affairs Dr. Ranjan over his recent remark to a TV Chennel at which he stated that all those happening in the state are the falls out of the Congress government.
RK Ranjan had earlier stated that the law-and-order condition of the state of Manipur has completely failed while talking to media in the aftermath of the incident at which his residence was burnt by a mob, Ibobi said.
“Recently he blame the earlier government for the present crisis. he said that the crisis is the fall out of the Congress rule, today he said that the crisis is due to the disparity in the fund utilization and blunder commitment by Congress government”, the leader of the Congress Legislator Wing told media.
He said that the congress party have been demanding for a special session of the Manipur Assembly to discuss the issue.
“We have pursued the matter to the governor of Manipur and the present government under the Chief Minister N. Biren is responsible for calling a special session”, the three times Chief Minister and presently leader of the CLP said.
