Concerns on Mega Dam

Coordinator of Centre for Human Rights, Dr. M Sureshkumar today draws the attention of the government regarding the various mega dam being constructed in the state. Speaking to reporters at his office room today morning, Dr. M Sureshkumar said that the state government should study the ground reality before deciding to construct any mega dam in the state. He said that government might required to construct the various infrastructure to meet the demand for development however if the construction causes mass destruction to the live and environment it should be diverted. He further appealed to look into the demands put up by Mapithel dam affected people.
