Combined troop of Bishnupur police commando and 6 AR arrested four cadres of different underground organization in 4 different counter insurgency operation conducted at various parts of Bishnupur district. A police statement said that on November 11, a team of Bishnupur District Police Commando arrested a cadre of UNLF from Moidangpok Village area. The cadre has been identified as Yengkhom Nabachandra Singh (51) son of late Yaima Singh of Moidangpok Awang Leikai. He is reported to have been involved in distributing money to the families of deceased cadre of UNLF. At another CI ops by a team of Bishnupur police commando another UNLF cadre identified as Asem Sharat Singh (41 son of A. Ibohal of Heikrujam Maning Leikai was arrested along with incriminating documents of the outfit. On the same day another team of Bishnupur Police Comando and 6 Assam Rifles arrested a cadre of the KCP along with various incriminating documents from Salankonjin area. He has been identified as Mayanglangbam Lamphel @ Ibomcha @ Suresh (34) son of late Yaima Singh Salankonjin Mamang Leikai . Thoubal Police Commando also arrested one cadre of PREPAK identified as Thokchom Okendro @ Oken Singh (58), son of late Th. Angoujoa Singh of Wangjing Heitupokpi Awang Leikai. A sum of rupees one lakh in cash along with various incriminating documents for extortion is seized from his possession. All the arrested UGs had been handed over to the respective police station.On the other hand troops of 12 Bihar also arrested a ZUF cadre on Novemebr 11 from Sagolband area along with one 9 mm pistol and 4 live rounds. The cadre has been identified as Gaidingam @ Thai, son of Dihchialung of Rengpon Tamenglong.
