COHSEM Class XII Exam held peacefully at Wabagai Centre after first-day incident

The Class XII examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur was held peacefully under strict security arrangements at Wabagai Higher Secondary School, following an incident on February 17 in which students of Langmeidong Higher Secondary School reportedly damaged answer scripts, attendance sheets and other examination materials on the first day of the examination.
On the second day of the ongoing examinations, officials of the Council visited the centre to oversee the examination. The team was accompanied by Additional SP (Law and Order), Kakching, L. Sangkerjit, along with personnel of the District Police Kakching and the Border Security Force. Extensive precautionary measures were undertaken to ensure that no untoward incidents occurred.
To further maintain order, volunteers of the Citizen Association for Rural Development (CARD), Wabagai, and the Social and Economic Development Organisation (SEDO), Hiyanglam, remained deployed near the school premises, contributing to the smooth and peaceful conduct of the examination.
