Chief Minister N Biren today paid a visit to Shija Hospital, Langol and inquired about the health of Rinku Khumukcham, Editor of Imphal Times who is undergoing treatment following an accident. The Chief Minister provided financial assistance to the injured.. Thangmeiband AC MLA Khumukcham Joykishan also visited the injured journalist and extended monetary assistance while Bijoy Kakchingtabam, President, All Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU) also visited the injured and enquired about the condition of the injured Editor. It may be mention that Rinku Khumukcham, Editor of Imphal Times has been undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital and Research Institute after an accident at Waithou area of Thoubal District on May 8.
