Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand congratulated the title winners of I- Glam Miss & Mr. Teen Manipur and Miss & Mr. Junior Manipur Beauty Contest 2026, encouraging them to become responsible individuals in their future lives. He also appreciated the team of I- Glam Manipur for successfully organizing the event.
Members of I- Glam Manipur, along with the winners of the contest and their family members met the Chief Minister at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Office in Babupara today. During the interaction, the Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the young participants and expressed his encouragement for their achievements. The I- Glam Manipur team and the winners also shared their experiences and moments with the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister, while extending his appreciation, assured that he would continue to support such initiatives in the future.
Speaking on the occasion, Devjani Mitra, Founder and Director of IGLAM, stated that the contest was organized with the objective of nurturing young talents in the fields of modeling and fashion, and to help develop their personalities. She further said that the initiative aims to build confidence, improve communication skills, and help children express themselves better without hesitation. She also added that such platforms would guide aspiring young talents from an early stage and provide them with opportunities to grow in modeling, fashion, and beauty pageants.
