CM inaugurates 14 projects, lays foundation stone for 8 projects in Tamenglong District H/Q

Chief Minister N. Biren today inaugurates 14 different projects and later laid foundation stone for 8 new projects at Mini Secretariat Complex, Tamenglong District. Speaking at the occasion, the CM N Biren said that his government is working out all possibilities for development of Tamenglong District. He said, since the coming of BJP led government in the State several changes are brought.
“Tamenglong District was once the most backward district in the State however, after the coming of BJP led government in the State various developmental work has been taken up “Chief Minister N. Biren said.
He said, various other schemes for the welfare of the people has been taken up, various project have been inaugurated and many more developmental works to be taken up in Tamenglong District is on the pipeline.
He further said that, the BJP led government is upgrading the Tamenglong District Football ground to encourage youths in the field of sports. He assured either to develop the ground with plantation grasses or by installing turf. On the other hand, Chief Minister said Centre has improve for construction of ring-road that connects all District Headquarters of the State.
Works Minister Th. Bishwajit who was also present at the occasion said that, BJP is committed for the welfare of the people. He assured the people that the BJP will continue to run the government for another 25 years.
Those project inaugurated today includes Phase-I Water Supply Schemes constructed at Tamei with an estimated cost of Rs. 59.68 crore, Rain Water Harvesting Scheme constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 2 crore, Nongmai High School building, boys hostel and by-pass road leading to the Mini Secretariat amongst other.
On the occasion, Health Cards was also distributed to the people of Tamenglong.
