CM, Dy. CM assures medical expenses for SK Raingam

Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam today went to RIMS hospital and inspected the condition of SK Raingam (27) son of Timothy of kachai Village who sustained serious bullet wound in yesterday’s police action in Ukhrul town during the mass rally organised by UNC.SK Raingam sustains three bullet wounds at right arm, right chess and left thigh. He was admitted to JNIMS hospital yesterday evening but was referred to RIMS.Chief Minister Okram Ibobi and Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam met Raingam and extended a financial help of rupees 50,000 to his family member. The Chief Minister also assured the family member that all the monetary need for his treatment will be borne by the state government.
