PHSC Uchiwa became the first PHSC to deliver a child under JSY (Janani Suraksha Yojana) and JSSK (Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram) under Thoubal District.The initiative has been taken up under the leadership of Dr. O. Ibomcha, State Health Mission Director, National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) in order to ensure safe child delivery to the mothers. A team led by Dr. S. Saratkumar, CMO, District Health Society, Thoubal visited at the PHSC and handed over the benefits to the beneficiary.
