Contractual staffs of Central Agriculture University (CAU) today locked the Administrative block of the University in protest against the termination of 20 contract staffs without issuing proper notification.
Report reaching here said that at around 9 pm today morning the association of the contract staffs of the University today held a meeting and discussed the development. As the way of terminating the contract staffs was done without proper notification the association finally resolved to approach the concern authority to reconsider the matter.
As the authority reportedly failed to give positive response the contract staff association agitated and locked the administrative block.
