Issues put up to draw the attention of the house regarding the deforestation and digging of hill range at Waithou Hill range has been given half reply as according to the rules of procedures and business of the house by veteran Minister, in charge of Forest, Th Devendra. In a calling attention motion MLA Shyamkumar today drew the attention of the house on the report about cutting down of Ngariyan Hill to develop Ecological park. While putting up these issues MLA Shyamkumar also pointed out about the certain unwanted activities being conducted by the state Forest department officials. Th Devendra said that during calling attention motion the matter should be specific and while replying the query he said some of the persons including vehicle digging and lifting earth from Ngariyan hill range has been caught and investigation is being underway. When Shyamkumar demanded the name of the real culprit involved in the deforestation and digging of the said hill range, Forest and Environment Minister said the matter is under investigation.
