BSF top officials call on Manipur Governor, brief on border security situation

Additional Director General (ADG) of the Border Security Force (BSF), Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, along with Inspector General (IG) of the BSF, M&C Frontier, Ravi Kant, called on the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan, Imphal today.
During the meeting, the senior BSF officers apprised the Governor of the prevailing security scenario along the India-Myanmar border. They discussed the operational preparedness of the BSF in the region and the ongoing measures being undertaken to ensure peace and stability in the sensitive border areas.
The officers also underlined the continuous coordination with state law enforcement and civil administration to strengthen internal security. They reiterated the BSF’s firm commitment to upholding peace and protecting the integrity of the border region.
The Governor acknowledged the BSF’s efforts and stressed the importance of maintaining synergy between central and state agencies in addressing security challenges.
