To commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Shija Breast and Thyroid Clinic, Shija Hospitals had organized an awareness program on Breast Cancer in association with Medical Officer In-charge, Community Health Centre, Nambol at the Conference Hall, Community Health Centre, Nambol.
Dr. Ajit Lukram, Consultant Shija Breast and Thyroid Clinic, Shija Hospitals delivered a lecture on breast cancer – its early detection, self examination, diagnosis, stages, types and treatment. The awareness program was attended by medical officers, nurses and staff of the CHC, Nambol including the ASHA workers.
The awareness program was followed by a free consultation and screening for breast and thyroid. Altogether 40 nos. of patients were screened during the camp.
