BOSEM books have been printed without proper work orders, alleges AMMSO

The All Manipur Muslim Students’ Organisation (AMMSO) has alleged that the authority of the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM), in collusion with some printing firm houses, has been printing textbooks for classes 1 to 10 without issuing proper work orders.
According to a statement from AMMSO, the organization discovered that some printing farmhouses were printing books for classes 1 to X without receiving proper work orders. Normally, BOSEM issues work orders to various printing farms in the state for each academic session. However, for this year, BOSEM has not issued any work orders for book printing to any of the registered printing farms that have paid fees to BOSEM.
AMMSO also noted that the hologram of BOSEM, which is mandatory for all books, was found at the printing press, indicating the involvement of BOSEM authority in illicit activities. Taking this matter very seriously, AMMSO warns of serious protests if BOSEM fails to clarify the situation regarding the printing of books without proper work orders and the provision of BOSEM holograms to those printing farms within three days.
