At what appears as a threat, miscreants today placed a hand grenade and a live bullet of 9mm pistol to the residence of a special contractor identified as Soubam Birdhaja (66), son of late S. Ibomcha of Uripok Achom Leikai. A note which writes “last warning” was also found along with the bomb. Family members found the hand grenade lying at the lawn at around 7 am today. A team of police who were informed later picked up the grenade and safely detonated.
