Imphal, July 8: Unknown miscreants today placed hand grenades at two different places in Imphal West and Bishnupur District. The first hand grenade was found at the residence of Laishram Shantikumar (45) son of Late Gourahari at Naoremthong Laishram Leikai in Imphal West at around 5.30 am. The hand grenade was wrapped in a paper and was written as KCP-MC. Shantikumar runs a canteen inside the premise of Manipur University.The second hand grenade was found at the residence of one Laishram Nirmala Devi (40) daughter of Laishram Heramot at Nachou Mayai Leikai in Bishempur district at around 6.30 am. Nirmala was a leader of the locality.Both the bomb were picked up and safely detonated by police personnel.
