Imphal, July 2: With the idea of enhancing the view of Kakching Keithel with natural floral adornment the One Shop One Flower programme was launched at the market place today. The programme was organised by Kakching Foundation for a Clean, Green and Blooming Kakching Keithel, Alliance for Development of Alternate Manipur (ADAM), Blooming Manipur and Kakching Bazar Business Welfare Association. It was sponsored by Kakching Municipal Council and MUDA, Manipur as a part of Swachh Bharat Mission. Consultant to the state government RK Nimai, director of MAHUD, Nepram Geetkumar, joint director Ngangom Uttam, chairperson of Kakching Municipal Council, Moirangthem Inakhunbi Devi, vice-chairman of KMC M Uma Devi, councilors, executive councilor of the council Suranjoy Singh Laishram were among the main participants. As the major highlight of the event, a large number of vases with different flower plants were kept at appropriate locations inside the market and stairs of the shops.
