Bank employees’ body joined 48 hours nationwide strike

United Forum of Bank Employees, Manipur today joined the nationwide 48 hours strike demanding clearance p pending wage revision of bank officers and employees. A protest rally was staged today here in Imphal by employees and officer of all nationalise bank of the state.
Convenor of the United Forum of Bank Employees Manipur while talking to media persons said that  the strike is against the pending wage revision of bank officers and employees. He further said that the wage revision is due since November 1, 2017 but there have been no efforts on the part of the Indian Banks Association and the central government to give effect to the revision.
