A three day long awareness program for Panchayat functionaries has begun today at the Counting Hall of DC Complex Thoubal.The awareness program which is jointly organised by Department of Rural Development & Panchayti Raj,Government of Manipur, Manipur State Panchayat Parishad,Panchayat Bhavan,Porompat and Block Panchayat Parishad,Thoubal C.D Block .Prof N. Mohendro Singh, Chief Advisor of Manipur State Panchayat Parishad, E. Manglemjao Singh, Up-Adhyaksha of Thoubal Zilla Parishad and T. Itobi, president of Manipur state Panchayat Parishad. Md. Abdul Latif, Vice-President of Manipur State Panchayat Parishad, A. Subol Singh, president of Block Panchayat Parishad Thoubal CD Block and Ksh.Omananda Singh, BDO/PO of Thoubal CD Block attended the function as chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
