Keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the villagers due to the prevalent socio-economic conditions and remoteness of the location, a complete checkup of every individual was carried out including the screening for lifestyle diseases.
Chassad Battalion provided free medical treatment and medicines to the residents of adjoining villages and a total of 80 patients (12 males, 23 females and 45 children) were provided requisite treatment. Apart from providing necessary medical attention, basic knowledge on health education, hygiene and sanitation was also imparted.
