Based on specific intelligence regarding movement of a UG cadre, troops of the 45 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) launched an operation in the general area Khabeisoi and apprehended one KCP (Noyon) cadre on 03 Jun 2015 who was later identified as Yumkhaibam Nazir Hussain alias Agha, 21, S/o Yumkhaibam Shahidur Rahman, resident of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai Konjil, PS- Lilong, Dist- Thoubal. One blank demand letter of KCP and a toy Pistol were recovered from his possession. The apprehendee along with the recovered items were handed over to the Heingang Police Station.
