Imphal, Nov 11: Troops of 12 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) seized 482 grams (30 packets) of Brown Sugar worth Rs 1.928 crore approximate at PVCP, Khudengthabi, Tengnoupal District on 08 Nov 2017. A statement of the AR said that the brown sugar was recovered from a colour Maruti Eeco van Regn No MN 01X 2849 moving from Moreh to Imphal.
The recovered contraband item along with the apprehendee was handed over to NCB, Imphal.
