AR saves two precious lives

Imphal, Jan. 11: 29 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) yet again served as last resort in remote area of Joupi wherein unit’s hospital saved two precious lives on 09 Jan 2018. At around 1900 hours, one Kunda Gaadi toppled into the nalla near at Joupi village, Chandel District, grievously injuring Mr Gangin Beite, aged 21 years, resident of Thingphai and Mr Anthony Jangthang, aged 29 years resident of HL Changangphay, Churachandpur. These individuals were immediately rushed to the unit hospital. Unit’s medical team sensing the urgency, sprung into action and provided life saving treatment to the individuals in crucial initial hours of injury. Unit hospital referred them to Imphal for further treatment.
