Assam Rifles of 28 Sector AR under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a Veterinary Camp under “Op Sadbhavana” at Joupi in Chandel District of Manipur state on 24 January 2016. Free check up and medicines were administered for the cattle, Local populaces were educated about the common ailments and their household remedies and also about communicable diseases and their prevention. Approximately 127 cattles were treated and given vaccination. The local populace appreciated the initiative by the Assam Rifles.
