Suspected NSCN(K) cadres ambushed a team of security personnel on ROP duty belonging to the 19AR today at around 10 am. The incident happened near the Peshama check post under Kohima Disrict. One AR personnel identified as Hav. JB Rai, 52 years of 19AR was injured in the ambush. His condition is stated to be serious.
