The All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) has felicitated actor Gugun Kipgen, popularly known as Gugun, for his role in the Manipuri film Boong, which recently received a BAFTA Award.
The felicitation ceremony was held on March 6, 2026 at around 5:30 pm in front of the PVR Cinema Hall at Vasant Kunj Promenade in New Delhi. During the event, AMUCO president Sanjoy Sorokhaibam honoured Gugun Kipgen and his family members by presenting a traditional shawl and a memento on behalf of the organisation.
Boong, a Manipuri film directed by filmmaker Lakshmipriya Devi and produced by Excel Entertainment, has gained international recognition after winning the prestigious BAFTA Award.
