AMPA observes 44th Foundation Day

All Manipur Press Association today observes 44th Foundation day at the Directorate o Art and Culture office premises today. Kh. Lalmohon Singh, Retd. Deputy Director, Printing & Stationery Govt. of Manipur, L Prenchand Singh, Shahitya Akademi Awardee, Kumar Singh Propreitor City Offset and M. Joykumar Singh, President AMPA  graced the occasion as chief Guest, Guests of honour and President respectively.Adressing the key note speech, general Secretary of AMPA, YK Dhiren stretch on the need for unity among the printing press runners in the state. He said that the Printing press association was set up by our elders long time back and we the present generation are only following their footsteps.Sahitya Akademi Awardee L Premchand elaborated on the roles of printing press in the state. He said the printing press are at present providing job facilities to many youths of the state. He drew the attention of the association to organised training course for machinemen and DTP operators.Other speakers of the occasion including the chief guest elaborated on the role played by printing press.Kh. Lalmohon Singh, Retd. Deputy Director, Printing & Stationery Govt. of Manipur,said that the printing press record the history of the past for the present and for the future generation.
