Imphal, Feb 21:
A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur, led by State Secretary Gautam Philem and State Organizing Secretary Bhagwat Singh, met the Governor of Manipur today following the imposition of President’s Rule in the state.
During the meeting, the ABVP leaders engaged in a detailed discussion with the Governor on various critical issues, including the state’s education system, social concerns, and pressing matters affecting students and youth. They emphasized the need for urgent reforms in the education sector, better opportunities for students, and policies that can address the current socio-political challenges in Manipur.
Speaking on the occasion, ABVP Manipur State Secretary Gautam Philem highlighted the organization’s commitment to ensuring quality education and youth empowerment in the state. “We conveyed our concerns and suggestions to the Governor, focusing on improving educational institutions, addressing unemployment, and strengthening student welfare policies,” he said.
State Organizing Secretary Bhagwat Singh reiterated ABVP’s dedication to working for societal development. He urged the administration to take proactive steps in ensuring stability and progress in Manipur during this transition period.
