A special enrolment saturation camp-cum-awareness campaign for the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and the Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) Health Scheme concluded its second phase with the completion of the drive at Mayeng Lamjao Gram Panchayat (GP) today.
The district-wide campaign is being organised by the District Implementation Unit (DIU), AB-PMJAY, Kakching, under the supervision of the District Administration, Kakching, with the objective of enrolling all eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), the flagship health scheme of the Centre.
The district-wide enrolment campaign, which began on July 23 at Hiyanglam GP and covered other locations including Mayeng Lamjao GP, has so far recorded 38 new AB-PMJAY registrations and issued PMJAY cards to 18 Senior Citizens. 94 PMJAY ReKYC updates were completed, one internally displaced person (IDP) was enrolled, 2 DC approved CMHT cards, 39 members were added under the CMHT scheme, and 571 CMHT cards were reprinted.
Following the completion of the drive at Mayeng Lamjao GP, the enrolment campaign will continue at Langmeidong GP from 29 to 31 July at Panchayat Ghar, Waikhong GP from 1 to 3 August at Panchayat Ghar, Wangoo GP from 4 to 11 August at Panchayat Ghar, Sugnu Nagar Panchayat from 12 to 13 August at the Municipal Office, Serou GP from 14 to 15 August at Panchayat Ghar, Kakching Khunou Nagar Panchayat from 17 to 19 August at the Municipal Office, Chairel GP from 20 to 21 August at Panchayat Ghar, Sekmaijin GP on 22 August at Panchayat Ghar, Wabagai GP from 24 to 25 August at Panchayat Ghar, Keirak GP from 26 to 27 August at Panchayat Ghar, Hayel Hangoon GP from 28 to 31 August at Panchayat Ghar and Pangantabi GP from 1 to 5 September at Panchayat Ghar.
It may be mentioned that AB-PMJAY provides free cashless health insurance coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary hospitalisation to poor and vulnerable families, while the enrolment drive also facilitates beneficiary verification, eKYC and issuance of Ayushman cards.
