AAMSU team on Imphal tour

With an objective to develop and maintain better relationship among the people of the state and the descendents of those who had left the state during the “seven years’ devastation” and settled outside the state a team of 15 members of All Assam Manipuri Students’ Union (AAMSU) led by its president Seram Herajit Singha is on an educational tour in the state.
During the tour, AAMSU team had visited various historical and religious sites related with the evolution of the Meitei ancestors. “
Speaking to the media persons, Seram Herajit Singha,President AAMSU said, the educational tour will help in strengthening the bond between the Manipuris residing in Assam and the people of Manipur.
After visiting various sites Herajit suggested the state government for proper maintenance of the historical sites besides charging entry fees and parking fees from the visitors.  He said that the condition of Singda Dam is pathetic and the bridge of the Singda Dam is outdated.
