Imphal, April 12: Observation committee of Nupee Khunai Meira Paibee Martyrs Memorial Day observed 9TH Nupee Khunai Meira Paibee Martyrs Memorial Day today at YMDA Ground, Liwa road, Maibam Leikai Bokul Makhong in Imphal West.
Chief Guest of the function Longjam Memchoubi, President of Poirei Leimarol Meira Paibi Apunba Manipur while speaking on the occasion said that after merger of the erstwhile kingdom Manipur to India union, Manipur has been living a hell like situation where armed security forces tortured, harassed, Killed and Maim in the name of controlling insurgency by imposing Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) 1958.
