7th Death Anniversary of Dr Kishan, Y Token and A Rajen was observed today at the memorial site of the three called Maparee Ningsingkol near Chierap Court, Uripok. The memorial function organized by Mapari Ningsingkol Lup (MANIL) was attended by I Hemochandra Singh, PHED Minister, S Tikendrajit Singh, Chairman of Mapari Ningsingkol Lup (MANIL), Dr S Rajendra Singh, M.S, President of Manipur Medical Council (MMC) and Dr K Lokendro Singh, M.D, Director of Ayush, Registrar, Manipur Medical Council (MMC).
Speaking on the occasion, PHED Minister, I Hemochandra Singh expressed shock to witness that not so many people attended the death anniversary of the three brave sons of the soil. Dr Kishan, Y Token and A Rajen were murdered mercilessly by NSCN(IM) in the year 2009.
“The protest and agitation which took place in Imphal in the aftermath of the killing should not be forget by every Manipuri”, Hemochandra said.
The Minister also condemned the speech given by the Chief Minister of Nagaland and Mizoram during the Lui-Ngai-Ni celebration which was held at TNL ground of Ukhrul. he said the speech of the two CM is inciting hate feeling among the peoples of Manipur.
