6th Month Vistarak Ceremony flagged off

Imphal, August 5: Chief Minister N Biren flagged off the 6th Month Vistarak Ceremony-Pandit Deendayal Upadhya Birth Centenary from BJP Manipur Pradesh’s office Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal this morning. Speaking to the media persons, N Biren, Chief Minister of Manipur said that the main objective of the event is to spread messages on the nationalism feelings to the youth of Manipur. The volunteers of Vistarak will visits 2794 polling booths in all assembly constituencies of the state during the whole 6 months to spread the message of the achievement of three years of Narendra Modi government and 100 days of the N Biren led state government. Chief Minister also said that the volunteers will also spread messages to observe the patriots day on August 13 in the memory of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighter of the state and Independence day on August 15 in the state. Today’s event was organised as part of the 100th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhya who is consider one of the important leaders of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh where 30 vehicles and 20 volunteers of Vistarak took part. Th Bishwajit, Works Minister, leaders and members of BJP Manipur Pradesh attended the event.
