5 days farmers’ training programme begins

Thoubal, July 12: A five-day training programme for farmers begins today at the Educational Enhancement Organisation (EEO) hall today.
The five days training programme is being organised jointly by the Rural Auxiliary for People’s Action (RAPA), Wangjing-Lamding, Central Institute of Horticulture (CIG), Department of Agriculture & Corporation, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt of India, Medziphema, Dimapur, Nagaland.
The inaugural programme was attended by Sagolsem Santi Devi, Councillor, Wangjing-Lamding Municipal Council Ward No 2, Thokchom Binoy Singh,President Foundation for Healthy People’s Manipur/Vice- President,Rural Auxiliary for People’s Action, Ksh.Birchandra Singh,District Officer,Horticulture and Soil Conservation,Thoubal and Ms. Shisarenla Aier,Training In-Charge CIH Medziphema, Dimapur as Chief guest, President, Guest of honour and Special guest.
Around 100 farmers are participating in the programme.
