4 RPF / OG held

Imphal, July 6: Four active over ground workers of the proscribed RPF/PLA were arrested by security forces yesterday near Khudengthabi Assam Rifles checkpost along Imphal-Moreh highway.
A combined team of police commandos of Moreh post and 12 Assam Rifles personnel led by SDPO Moreh Lawrence K Munluo arrested the four around 6:10, police said.  They said one Maruti Alto car in which they were travelling was seized from their possession.
The arrested were L Jiteshwor Singh (51), son of late Nobin Singh, resident of Irengband Saban Leikai under Kakching Police Station, Asem Brojendro Singh (49), son of late Asem Tomba Singh, resident of Irengband Hawairou under Kakching Police Station, Konthoujam Indramani Singh (47), son of late K Tomcha Singh, resident of Irengband Laibung Leikai under Kakching Police Station and Mayengbam Gopal Singh (55), son of late M Chingkhu Singh, resident of Irengband Mairembam Maning Leikai under Kakching Police Station. 
The police claimed that they were returning from Tamu in Myanmar after meeting their commanders  namely Nelson and Rishikanta who are leaders of RPF/PLA.  
They have been handed over to Moreh Police Station for necessary legal action.
