3rd Death Anniversary of Robinhood on July 8; JCILPS appeals CSOs not to call bandh on the day

Convenor of the JCILPS Arjun Telheiba, while calling on the people of the state to attend the 3rd death Anniversary of Sapamcha Robinhood who sacrifice his life during peoples agitation for protection of the indigenous People of the state appealed organisations and civil society organisations not to hamper the memorial function to be held on July 8 at Awa Ching now called as Lamjing meira Ching as a mark of regard to the student.
Sacpamcha Robinhood died during police action on July 8 of 2015 while they were protesting introduction of Inner Line permit System in the state.
Sapamcha Robinhood was given the title “Lamjing meira” or  “Torch bearer” for the protection of the indigenous people of Manipur and mass memorial service is being organised at his memorial site at Awa Ching on July 8.
