38th Anal Lenruwl Tangpi General Conference 2026 

The Apex Body of the Anal Students Union, Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT), Anal Naga Students Union, will organise its 38th General Conference 2026 from January 27 to January 30. The conference will be held with a series of cultural programmes at the District Sports Complex, Chandel Christian Village, Chandel.
The general conference will focus on the educational advancement of students from Chandel district, particularly those aspiring for medical, engineering and civil service examinations. As part of the programme, initiatives related to the ALT Coaching Centre and other educational support systems aimed at enhancing academic quality among students of the district will be highlighted.
As part of the General conference, the first of its kind in Chandel district, ALT Coaching centre focusing on students aspiring for Medical, Engineering and Civil Service Exam will be inaugurated.
At a press meet held this afternoon at the office of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (ALT) Panchai Village, Chandel, Convenor of 38th Anal Lenruwl Tangpi General Conference 2026, COCO Khatter Khampa said that, the General Conference is being organised under the theme “Lessons to Legacy” with its host Chandel Christian Village.
A variety of programmes aimed at strengthening cultural identity will be organised during the conference. These include literary and cultural competitions, spelling bee, debate competition, marathon race and several sports events such as volleyball, football, arm wrestling, tug of war, shot put and bamboo climbing. The grand finale of Miss ALT 2026 will also be held as part of the conference.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Anal Lenruwl Tangpi and the Kankhu Institute of Medical, Engineering and Civil Service Exams, known as KIMECS which is under the Society for Social and Rural Development, Chandel.
Appealing to the public, the conference convenor Khatter Khampa urged maximum participation from the people during the four day event from January 27 to January 30. He also encouraged students from Chandel district who are preparing for medical, engineering and civil service examinations to take advantage of the facilities and guidance that will be made available through the coaching centre.
The programme was attended by ALT President BD Ningwar, Managing Director of Kankhu Institute of Medical, Engineering and Civil Service Exams Ruwngni Ruwndar, and senior members of Anal Lenruwl Tangpi.
