36 years old man escapes from the claws of criminals

A 36 years old man identified as Yaikhom Boicha @ Priyojit son of Y. Bajabihari of Uripok Bachaspati Leikai claimed to have escaped from the claw of criminals who had abducted him from North AOC area yesterday evening.
Recounting the horror, Yaikhom Boicha @ Priyojit said that he was abducted by four persons who came in a red colour car from North AOC area in front of Hotel Tampha at around 11 pm yesterday evening.
“There were four people inside the red colour car and while I was looking for my friend they call me and asked whether I am a member of KCP”, Boicha said.
The four person later took him along with them under duress and Boicha said that he remember one among them collecting a gun from a house at Porompat. Later, they took him along the Baruni Hill area and started assaulting him by alleging as a member of the KCP.
Boicha said that he shouted for help but no one came forward, later, he jump into a gorge and escaped from the hands of the miscreants, he added.
Talking to the media person at Manipur Press club today afternoon Boicha said that he and his friend Ingo Maibam (33) of Tentha Khunjao, who is working together at a pharmacy near RIMS, went to play housie at Singjamei and left the place at around 10:30 looking for some drinks. As almost all vendors at Paona Keithel, khakhulong and Major Khul were closed they went to North AOC. He said they reached at North AOC at around 11 am and after letting his friend waiting near the petrol pump he went out to look for vendors and came out after having a peg of country brew.
He said those people who abducted him had short hair cut and look healthy.
He further added that he removed his cloth so that the miscreants may not identify him. He said he found a firm at the foothill and spent the night there. After spending the night he caught a passenger auto and reached Lamlong Keithel.
Y. Abey, wife of the victim said that her husband is not having any connection with any underground and had no enemy. She appealed those involved to clarify on why her husband was tortured and assaulted in such a way.
