Nationwide, 6.2 crore MSMEs provide employment to over 25.28 crore people. In Manipur, around 34,300 MSMEs are registered, employing nearly one lakh people, though many units remain unregistered.
Dr. Munal urged participants to register under the UDYAM platform and encouraged women entrepreneurs to avail additional government incentives.
